So I have decided to give up coffee for Lent. NOT caffeine but coffee, java, joe, you get the idea. I am slightly nervous about this undertaking. So to get prepared for my 40 days without that lovely beverage that beckons me out of my out slumber every morning I made a run to Target.
This adorable mug my niece Emma made for me. She painted it with flowers and "Aunt Jenn". It is one of my favorite items on this earth. This will be a interesting experience but I know it will be worth it!
On a different note: My co-workers got me these adorable cupcakes today. They were very good.
The hubster and I have the day off tomorrow. He is making me a VERY yummy B-day breakfast that I plan to share pics of. Beyond that our plans are that we have no plans. We are just excited to have a day off in the middle of the week to celebrate and do what ever we want (or as Kev keeps saying, whatever I want).
Anyone have suggestions?
Have a great evening enjoy your coffee for me!

It would be so hard for me to give up coffee!! But I like tea also, the Awake kind is good:) Have a happy birthday! Those cupcakes look yummy:)
Well done you on giving up coffee!! You can still have tea so you'll be fine :)
Imagine just how good your 1st coffee after 40 days will taste... yum!

Happy Early Birthday! (well it is probably really your birthday now) I hope the no coffee thing goes well! I bet the new tea will help a lot :)
That is a good one to give up, I like how you bought some new tea stuff to get you started.
I am telling you, giving up coffee is the HARDEST. When I got pregnant I gave it up all together (including decaf) for about 3 months- it was killer. Eventually I broke down and had some decaf coffee, and it was the best day ever :)
Good luck!
